"TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FAULTY FURNITURE"
Absolutely horrible customer service and many lies!
I purchased furniture and had it delivered - the headboard starting cracking immediately -I setup a service call. They came and determined it was faulty - four deliveries and many hours of waiting - I finally received one that was checked before delivery - this now is pulling away from the posts! I called the store - they sent a tech since the last delivery was within a year and then he told me to call a number on Wed - i DID AND THEY DETERMINED IT CAN BE FIXED BUT HOLD IT - THEY WANT ME TO PAY???????????????????AND THE REASON - THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE WAS OVER A YEAR AGO - NOT THE LASTEST ONE THEY DELIVERED - WHAT A JOKE THE MANAGER A THE STORE WILL NOT EVEN GET ON THE PHONE - TERRIBLE COMPANY - TRYING TO REACH CORPORATE OFFICE AND I AM GOING TO CONTINUE UNTIL I GET RESOLVED - DON'T BUY HERE -

"Honesty Is The Best Policy"
This company should tell you the truth upfront, I am concerned about a refund policy which I was told would be 25%, ok after I got the item it looked used, so I thought all I had to pay was 25%, ok I swallowed this amount, now they want to charge all kind of fees, which they don't tell you upfront, just be honest, we all make mistakes in life and this was one I MADE

"Commercial OVER KILL"
Although I have no need for new furniture at this time, I just wanted to express my opinion regarding their commercials. I don't know where the retailer obtains all the money to advertise on TV (secret inflated customer up charges), but I MUTE when ever their commercials are aired in Michigan. They are too numerous and too obnoxious to hear & listen to whenever it starts. The gross guitar music, hurts my ears. The music I believe is well above the normal hearing level of other commercials. How the TV sponsors allow the obnoxious music is also offensive. All the Detroit area TV stations air the same commercials. The retailer clearly out-spends the other advertisers, airing several times during what seems to be every commercial break. OK I get the promotions. Stop the count and curtail the sound level. Get rid of the OBNOXIOUS GUITAR !!!

I HAD THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.....GARDNER WHITE NEEDS TO CLEAN UP THEIR ACT IMMEDIATELY!!! I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP AT THE SOUTHFIELD STORE EVER AGAIN 😒 ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING A SALE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM IS NEED OF SOME"HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS " TRAINING, THEN THEY PROMISE YOU A DELIVERY ON SATURDAY BUT I DIDN'T IT GET UNTIL TUESDAY !!!! THEN FOR NOT GETTING ON THE PROMISED DAY THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE A 100 DOLLAR IN STORE CREDIT....NOT!! THEN I WAS SUPPOSED GET A PHONE CALL FROM MY SALESPERSON...NOT!! YOU ARE THE WORST FURNITURE STORE I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!!! PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU WANT BROKEN PROMISES PLEASE GO TO GARDNER WHITE!!!!

"I have had one of the worst experiences…"
I have had one of the worst experiences with both a product and customer service and it was with Gardner White. AVOID GARDNER WHITE unless you are ok with low quality, terrible customer service, and PAYING a 25% RESTOCKING fee even if the product is absolutely unacceptable. We were scammed. The product in the showroom was decent quality but the product that was delivered, a sofa and loveseat, were bad. The cushions were uncomfortable like cheap foam and the fabric was separating in multiple places. The frame of the couch was creaking and we are not overweight people. They DO NOT disclose the 25% restocking fee on any of the paperwork. BE AWARE, Gardner White will keep 1/4 of your money when you are not ok with their low quality product. Other competitors like VALUE CITY ONLY CHARGE up to a 15% restocking fee. I spoke with Mikayla at their corporate customer service number who was supposedly a manager but she failed to provide any resolution or at least a lower percentage to restock given the terrible product.

"Perfection!"
I went into the Canton MI, GW looking for a mattress. Walked in and was greeted immediately by a nice guy named Troy, he showed me a few options and it wasn’t long before he pointed out the Serta iComfort hybrid! He went through all the features and in no time at all I walked out owning an amazing bed!
Delivery was a breeze! In and out and they were very respectful of my home and belongings!
This experience was probably the best one I’ve had from start to finish!!

"Absolutely horrible customer service…"
Absolutely horrible customer service from customer service. I have purchased an entire bedroom set without any issue but furniture is a different story. We purchased the Liam set over 6k first couch arrived broke now you wait for a tech to come look at it and go yup its broke wait a few for days for a new couch. 2nd couch arrives it's bowing out armrest are blown out because there is no hinge or anything for support material is stretched. Gardner White so kindly offered to swap it out for another set but let's charge a 25% restocking fee. I get this if we simply didn't like the furniture or it didn't fit or we broke it, but this is a quality and craftsmanship of a product they sell and will NOT BACK UP!! So if you want furniture that won't hold up even as good as IKEA you are in the right place. They said there plan with returned furniture is to put it out on the floor as a sample and sell it as a floor model. Always comforting to know the floor pieces might have been sat in by who knows who and or what was done on these pieces before they sell them to you with no warranty. Good luck everyone who decides to use them.

buyer beware mattress sleep guarantee NON SENSE!!!! I don’t know when I’m gonna get a Mattress that I paid $2700 for. Very unethical very unsupportive very aloof I felt like I was going into a twilight zone with a bunch of zombies. Now I’m sleeping on my sofa!

Their furniture is not bad. The thing that really drives me crazy is their tv commercials. They are loud and obnoxious. I always have to mute them. Please fire your ad agency or stop that terrible music background.

25% restocking fee within 24 hours of purchase.. this is a scam. -- No wonder why so many furniture companies like this go out of business very often.. they don't have any ethics or respect for customers. You are not 3 feet in the store entrance when the salesperson jumps on you with a big smile in the face.. during the whole tour they offer al kind of credit, protection plan..bla bla.. but conveniently avoid to mention that " by the way we keep a quarter of your money for any exchange" .. never in my life will buy anything from this store

"4.5 out of 5 stars... GREAT!"
Minus a half star because the box came all beat up and I got nervous to the point of taking pictures and preparing myself to battle for a new shipment. But holy cow, the chairs were flawless and shipping was FAST! Like 2 days to get them. And the price was outstanding, literally 1/2 price versus what Ashley was asking. We have the ashley ralene dining set and my wife wanted 2 more chairs. GW's price was unbeatable. I couldn't be happier. I almost feel bad not giving 5 stars.

"DO NOT BUY!"
WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM GARDNER WHITE! It is not worth the risk! Our sectional came completely broken and our loveseat came torn. We called immediately to return them. My husband insisted that he did not want them replaced as the tears showed how cheap the product was. We are still being charged OVER $500 for fees, pillows, and the random gifts they insist on giving you when you purchase the furniture! We feel completely scammed! Avoid Gardner White at all costs!!!

"Horrible customer service"
Horrible customer service. Bought a very expensive mattress 3 months later starts sagging in the middle. They didnt do anything to help us with this. Got a total runaround ..call this person ..call that person. Never ever ever will I shop there again !!! The only thing they offered was a new mattress with paying a ADDITIONAL $200.00 REALLY?? NO THANK YOU!! AS IT IS IM PAYING $1700 FOR A DAM LEMON

"Horrible right from the start of The…"
Horrible right from the start of The “white glove” delivery who took chunks out of my drywall and left scratches on my wood floors. The 7 day return policy is BS. Sofa/love seat we spent over 4000.00 on is horribly uncomfortable and because it is 2 weeks past the 7 days, they will not allow us to exchange.😡😡😡. We would gladly pay the 25% restocking fee just to not have to sit on this awful furniture. If you’re looking for new furniture, keep looking and don’t stop here.
